Description
The Village Pumps and the Drinking Fountain are located in front of the detached part of the Springwells Hotel on Steyning High Street. The 19th-century iron pump stands on a two-step stone base, with a lower pump positioned above a stone trough. The stone drinking fountain, designed in the London style, was erected around 1900 by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association in memory of Captain Drummond M.V.O. and his daughter Evie.
