Description
A barn dating to the late 16th century stands to the west of Picts Cottages. The barn is timber-framed and originally clad in weatherboarding set upon a sandstone base. It has a hipped tiled roof. The three-bay structure features gunstock-jowled upright posts, a midrail, and curved tension braces. Additional features include angled queen struts, through purlins, and rafters without a ridgepiece.
