Description

This is a 15th-century timber-framed hall house, located on the north-west side of Steying Church Street. The building, known as The Forge, has undergone restoration and significant alterations. The ground floor is now faced with red brick, while the upper floor features modern timbering and plaster infilling. The roof is covered with Horsham slabs. Modern casement windows are visible externally. The house is two storeys high and has two windows. Internally, a crown post roof remains.
