Description

Holland Cottage is a medieval timber-framed hall house, likely built around 1500, and is now part of Steyning Grammar School. The building has two storeys and features four windows. The ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick, which was once painted. The first floor overhangs on a moulded bressumer and is close studded with plaster infilling. The roof is tiled, and the windows are horizontally sliding sashes, with some having diamond-shaped panes. Inside, there is a crown post roof.
