Description
The Chichester Inn, located at 38 West Street, is a building from the 18th century that was refronted in the 19th century. It features a hipped roof divided into two sections and has two flat-roofed dormers with glazing bars. The building has a dentilled eaves cornice and stands two storeys tall, with a stuccoed exterior. It showcases long and short quoins and a band between the ground and first floors. There are three window bays, each with sash windows set in reveals, although the glazing bars are missing. The windows have stuccoed architraves with lugs, with flat arches above the upper windows and segmental arches above the lower windows. The entrance features a doorway with pilasters and a cornice supported by consoles above.
