Description

32 and 33 West Street are an 18th-century building, similar in style to numbers 30 and 31, but with a lower front elevation and roofline, and projecting slightly further south. The building is surfaced with cement. Number 32 features a doorway framed by fluted pilasters and topped with a pediment-shaped hood. The door itself has six moulded panels, with the two upper panels cut away and glazed. To the east of the doorway is a contemporary bow window with glazing bars. Number 33 has a modern shop front with glazing bars canted towards the doorway, flanked by pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The buildings are part of a group that includes the Church of St Peter (numbers 21 to 25) and the John Edes House (numbers 27 to 33).
