Description
The Market House and Art Annexe of Chichester College of Further Education, originally listed as The Market House, is a significant building dating from 1807, designed by architect T. Nash. This two-storey structure is built of stone and features a Doric colonnade with an entablature and balustrade. Above this, there are Ionic pilasters. The top storey and small additions at each end were added in the late 19th century. The Market House, Technical Institute, and the adjacent properties numbered 83 to 87 form an important group.
