Description

1, South Pallant is an 18th-century building of brick construction, retaining some original features. The property has an old tiled roof with a low, central brick stack. The eaves are marked by a dentilled cornice. The exterior is cement rendered. The building has one window bay. Above, a sash window remains within reveals, set within a slightly segmental arch; the glazing bars are intact. Below this is a later three-light casement window, also set within a wider segmental arch. The front door is set within reveals, featuring six flush panels, and is topped by a flat, segmental fanlight. The doorway itself is framed by a flat segmental arch, ornamented with an impost moulding which returns down the outer side of the door frame. A rectangular pediment sits above the door.
