Description
No. 53 North Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall, with a slightly lower front. It features a slate roof that has a hip on the south side. The façade is stuccoed and includes a band above the ground floor. The building has one window bay with sash windows set in reveals under flat arches, and the glazing bars are intact. There is a small modern plate-glass shop window framed in fluted detailing. The round-headed doorway is topped by a semi-circular fanlight with tracery, and the door itself has six fielded panels.
