Description

Nos 12 and 13 on South Street are 18th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall, although they have a lower frontage compared to the adjacent Nos 9-11. Constructed from red brick, they feature a stringcourse above the second-floor windows and a parapet. Each of the first and second floors has two windows and one blocked window in the centre, with rubbed brick voussoirs above. The sash windows are set in reveals and retain their glazing bars. The ground floor has plate-glass shop windows. These buildings are part of a group that includes Vicar's Hall and Crypt with Canon Gate and Nos 8 to 25, which are all connected.
