Description
17 and 18 South Street are early 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall, with a lower frontage compared to the adjacent Nos 14 to 16. The buildings are constructed of red brick and feature four tall sash windows with flush boxes, and the glazing bars remain intact. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century fascia and a plate-glass shop front. These buildings are part of a group that includes Vicar's Hall and Crypt, Canon Gate, and Nos 8 to 25 South Street.
