Description

The Cottage in the Wall is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of East Street. It serves as a continuation of the coach entrance to Winterton Lodge. The structure is two storeys high and features two windows. It is constructed of pebble with red brick dressings and quoins. The windows and door have cambered arches, and the windows are fitted with glazing bar sashes. The entrance includes a four-panel door with raised and fielded panels, and the roof is a shallow hipped slate design.
