Description
The two garden walls of Winterton Lodge, located to the north-east and east, are notable structures from the 19th century. The wall to the north-east of No 36 East Street is a tall cobbled wall, measuring approximately 55 yards long. It features vertical strips and quoins made of red brick on the street side, while the garden side is faced with large bricks. The wall between Winterton Lodge and No 38 East Street is around 45 yards long and is cobble-faced with pebble upper courses. It includes five slight buttresses and two oggee-headed doorways made of red brick with rubbed brick arches.
