Description

Nos 8 and 10 on The Steyne are a pair of early 19th-century houses. They are three storeys high and have a stuccoed exterior. Each house features two windows on the top storey, with casement windows at No 10 and sash windows at No 8. On the first floor, there are three-light bay windows with glazing bars, and a balcony runs across the first storey, topped with a convex metal canopy and modern decorated iron railings at No 10. The ground floor has modified casement windows. The doorway of No 10 has a moulded architrave. Both houses have two-span slate roofs.
