Description

Jubilee Fountain is located in the center of the green towards the Esplanade. The fountain was erected to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee and was re-erected on its current site in 1969. It is made of grey and polished pink granite. The fountain features a square pedestal with semi-circular drinking stoops on each side, which are encircled by a cornice that angles into a pediment on each side. Above the pedestal, there is an ogee cap that supports a crown on four colonnettes, over a pool.
