Description

Esmond House is an early 19th-century building of three storeys. It is stuccoed and features one sash window and a three-light bay on the right-hand side. The front door has a moulded architrave and consists of six panels, with the top four glazed. Decorative ironwork railings are present. The building lacks a parapet and has a two-span slate roof. Esmond House forms part of a group with numbers 9 to 17 (odd), 19 to 27 (odd), and Steyne Hall, creating an uninterrupted sequence along the west side of The Steyne.
