Description

Nos 35-36 on East Street in Shoreham-by-Sea is a house that has been converted into a restaurant. It dates from the late 18th century and features cobbled construction with painted brick quoins and dressings. The building has a wooden eaves cornice and a pantiled roof, which has a gable parapet on the left side and an end stack on the right. The left side of the building is faced in red brick, added in the later 19th century. It is two storeys tall and has five windows on the first floor, which are sashes without glazing bars. Below, there is a full-width 20th-century shop front that wraps around the corner to the left, with glazed doors to the left and right of the centre. There is also an early 19th-century panelled door to the left of the centre.
