Description

This is a house, likely built in the first half of the 17th century and altered since. It is timber-framed, now rendered and with brick underbuilding, and has a plain tile roof. The house is two stories with two bays. A step leads to a 20th-century panelled door on the left-hand side, and a small-pane, 20th-century canted bay window is on the right. The first floor is jettied, supported by brackets at the ends, and has two sash windows with glazing bars in flush wood architraves. A stack (chimney) is located at the rear. The rear of the house consists of a main range and a rear wing, both of timber frame construction with some brick and some plastered wattle and daub infill. A 19th-century wing is located on the left side of the rear elevation.
