Description
This is a barn located at Nurscombe Farm, dating from the 17th century with 19th-century additions. It features a timber frame set on a plinth of brick and sandstone rubble, with colourwashed brick infill on the exposed frame at the right end and weatherboarding on the left end. The roof is plain tiled and steps down to the left. The structure consists of two barns joined end to end, with an open throughway in the center. The first floor jetties out to the right and has diamond-pane leaded casements, with two windows on both the first and ground floors. There are opposing double doors at the center of the left barn, which are sheltered by a pentice drip board. A stable wing at the rear left is not of special interest.
