26 and 28 High Street is a Grade II listed building, likely dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations. The building is timber framed, deep and narrow, and No 26 is located behind No 28. The left side features exposed, brick-filled timber framing with tile-hanging above. At the back, there is a small cross-range with a rendered stack. The gabled front has tile hanging at the top and modern red brick below.
