Description

Number 32 High Street is an 18th-century building with a modern, Elizabethan-style facade. It has a single wide gabled bay. The ground floor is constructed of narrow bricks, and the upper portion is half-timbered with stucco infill. A beautifully carved bargeboard and beam adorn the overhanging gable above a first-floor canted oriel window. The building has tiled roofs, and a modern shop front occupies the ground floor. The rear of the building is partly tile-hung with random rubble stonework in the lower section. The building is included in the listing for its group value.
