Description

This is a 17th-century barn located to the north of Purchase Farmhouse on Whitmoor Vale Road in Hindhead. The barn is constructed from malmstone rubble, featuring red brick quoins and dressings, and has a hipped thatched roof. It is a single storey with three bays, and includes boarded doors and slit vents. Inside, the barn reveals roof trusses with curved queen-struts and butt purlins. There is an attached one-storey outbuilding, but it is not considered of special interest.
