Description

Nos 13 to 17 on Lower Church Lane are a row of cottages built around 1840. They are two storeys high with an attic and feature a plain brick string course at the first-floor level. The cottages have an old tiled roof. Each cottage includes one sash dormer window and one window with a segmental head on the first floor, along with a four-panelled flush door. Nos 14 and 16 have modern doors, while the entrance to No 17 is located in Middle Church Lane. This group of cottages, along with Nos 3 to 17 and No 4A Downing Street, is recognized for its historical significance.
