Description
Nos 2, 3, 4, and 7 on Vicarage Lane are early 19th-century buildings that stand two stories tall. They are constructed of brick on a projecting plinth, featuring boxed eaves and a slate roof. The front facade has six small windows, one of which has small panes. On the ground floor, from left to right, there are two sash windows without glazing bars, two half-glazed doors, two windows without glazing bars, one window with glazing bars, a panelled door, and two more windows without glazing bars. The brickwork includes voussoirs. At the back of Nos 4 and 7, there is an earlier structure that has double gables, is tile-hung, and has an old tiled roof. These buildings form a group with others located in the vicinity, including Vicarage Lane, Churchyard, Church Passage, Upper Church Lane (northwest side), Middle Church Lane, and Lower Church Lane (west end).
