Description

This barn, located north-east of Hole Cottage, is now used as a store. It was built in two phases during the 16th and 17th centuries. The structure features a timber frame resting on a brick plinth, with a cement block underbuild and a brick end wall on the right side. The barn is clad in corrugated iron, which also covers the hipped roofs, one of which has a gablet on the right and steps down to the left. The barn consists of three framed bays with double doors at the center and an additional bay added to the left. It has jowled posts and a Queen-strut, windbraced roof. The barn is included for its group value.
