Description

This granary, located 30 yards south-west of Lingfield Hospital School, dates from the late 18th century. It features red brown and blue brick at the bottom, set on a coursed stone plinth, with timber framing clad in weatherboarding above. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, and it has square gutters supported by scroll brackets. The building is two storeys high, with projecting double board doors on the right side of the ground floor and a metal garage door on the left. There are external wooden stairs leading to the centre, which has a board door at the first floor. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
