Description

The building, now part office, is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed and features red and blue brick cladding on the front, with tile hanging above. The timber frame is exposed on the right end, and on the return fronts and rear, with brick and rendered infilling in other areas. The roof is tiled, hipped, and has a gablet to the right. A ridge stack is located to the right of the centre. The plan follows a "T" shape, with a gabled cross wing extending to the right end. The house has two storeys and includes two three-light gable eaves dormers across the first floor to the left, and a small two-light window between these. A further three-light window is in the first floor of the gabled wing to the right. A glazed door is positioned to the left of the centre, and a half-glazed leaded door is in a gabled brick porch to the right of the centre. A catslide extension extends to the left, featuring one casement window. A wing is set at a right angle to the rear centre.
