Description

Broomlands Farm House is a house dating from the 17th century, with a front that was extended in the 18th century. It features a brick plinth with sandstone above at the rear, and a front made of red and blue brick topped by a hipped plain tiled roof with end stacks and a large ridge stack located to the right of center. The building has two storeys, with a plat band over the ground floor and brick dentilled eaves. On the first floor, there are four iron casement windows with cambered heads, while the ground floor windows have "Gothick" head glazing bars. To the right of center, there is a half-glazed door beneath a flat trellis porch. At the rear, there is a wing that is rendered below and tile hung above.
