Description

North View is a cottage row dating from the 17th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. The central section is timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill on a stone plinth; the lower portion is whitewashed brick, and the upper portion is weatherboarded to the left, with brown brick to the right end. The roofs are of plain tiles with varying heights, and have a stack at the rear left. The left and central sections rise two storeys, while the right section is single-storey with an attic containing two lucarne casement windows. The central section has two framed bays with leaded casement windows on the first floor. A single casement window is visible in the projecting left-hand extension. The ground floor windows on the right have cambered heads. A glazed door is situated to the left, within a gabled, weatherboarded porch. A further door is on the right, under a pent roof porch. A flat-roofed garage extension has been added to the right.
