GV II

Former Farmhouse, now divided and extended with shop to left, hotel to right. C16 with C17 extension to south, Victorian additions to rear. Timber framed, underbuilt in brick, whitewashed to left with tile hanging above; plain tiled roof, double pile to south, hipped to left with end stacks, rendered stack to rear left and ridge stack to right of centre. Two storeys with moulded eaves board, two glazing bar sash windows on first floor left, three casements to centre and right. C20 bow window to ground floor left. C20 glazed door to left in Doric pilaster surround (Antique Shop). Glazed C19 door under flat porch hood on moulded brackets to left of centre, double planked doors to left. Right hand return front: main entrance to hotel to centre of ground floor. Interior: extensive framing visible, deep brick fireplaces.
