Description
Burrow Hill Farm House is a house dating from the 16th century, which was extended in the early 20th century in a similar style. It features a timber frame set on a whitewashed brick plinth, with the exposed framing infilled with whitewashed brick. The roofs are plain tiled, hipped over the front left and right. The building has an L-shaped plan with a hipped crosswing to the right. It is two storeys high and has a square stack at the left end, a rear ridge stack to the left of the centre, a square stack at the right end, and a rear stack to the right of centre. To the right of the recessed centre, there are double hipped bays. To the left of centre, there is one storey and an attic under two hipped roof dormers, with one casement window in the centre. The ground floor features a projecting gabled window to the left, a three-light window to the left, and a three-light leaded window in the centre. There are two additional windows on the ground floor to the right. A ribbed door is located to the left of centre in a recessed brick porch. There are further wings at the rear.
