Description
Buckstone Farm House is a house with a core dating from the 16th century, which was extended at the ends and rear in the 1930s. It is timber framed with a colourwashed brick base and exposed framing above, featuring colourwashed brick infill and plain tiled roofs. The house has two storeys with an attic in a gabled cross wing. There is a stack at the front left and another stack at the rear of the cross wing. The structure consists of three framed bays, with two on the left and one on the right of the taller gable front. The gable features curved end bracing on both sides and on the first floor of the gable wing. The attic has one casement window, while the first floor has a three-light casement window below and another casement window to the left, which is accompanied by a blocked four-light wood mullioned window. There is also a two-light window on the first floor to the right. The ground floor has four windows in total, and a planked door is located under a pentice board hood at the left end of the gabled bay.
