Description
The building is a barn and stables located 30 yards west of Hithermoor Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, with the stable block dated 1820. The barn features three or four bays, is weatherboarded, and sits on a brick plinth with a tiled roof that is half hipped to the right. There are double doors to the left and two 20th-century windows. The barn is connected to a two-storey stable with three bays by a throughway that has a continuous roof. The stable block has a date inscribed in the brick along with the initials "T.M." and "I.F.M." Additionally, there is a range of lower early 19th-century stables with a slate roof in an 'L' plan to the north-west.
