Description

The Wheatsheaf Inn and Wheatsheaf Cottages (Nos 1 and 2) form a single composition facing Park Road. Dating to the early 19th century, the building is rendered with a brick eaves course. It has a hipped tiled roof and three chimneys. The front elevation has two windows on the left-hand side, which are casements, and two windows on the right-hand side, which are glazing bar sashes with cambered heads on the ground floor. There are three doorways, with windows above; the left-hand one is blind, and the right-hand doorway has panelled pilaster strips and a cornice.
