Description

Windsor Cottage is an early to mid-19th century building located on the north side of High Street in Stanwell. It is two storeys tall and constructed of buff brick with a hipped tiled roof. The cottage features three windows that are fitted with glazing bar sashes. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a flush-beaded design and is topped by a transom light. A Tuscan pedimented porch enhances the entrance. In front of the cottage, there is a forecourt wall made of 20th-century brick, which includes re-used gate pier caps inscribed with "Windsor Cottage." The building is included in the heritage listing for its group value on Stanwell Green.
