Description
Dunmore House, located at 40 High Street in Stanwell, dates from around 1720. This two-storey building is constructed of brick and features gauged brick arches over its windows, with segmental arches on the first floor and flat arches on the ground floor. The building has red brick dressings and rendered quoins, along with a slight cornice and a blocking course. The roof is a concealed hipped tile design.
There are seven windows, closely spaced on the left side, each with apron panels above them on both floors. The windows are fitted with glazing bar sashes in flush moulded frames, and the dressings extend up to the parapet. The central entrance features an eight-panel door, flanked by panelled pilasters and topped with a flat hood that is broken forward over the brackets.
