Description
Coachman's Cottage is an 18th-century, two-storey building that was originally a coach house. It is constructed of brick, featuring red brick voussoirs and flat arches. The building has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a hipped pantile roof with plain tile base courses. The central section of the facade has a break with a moulded pediment that contains an oculus. Below this, there is an arched recess with double doors and a lunette window above. Each side of the central section has two bays, with glazing bar sash windows that pivot on the first floor and casement windows on the ground floor. There is a central panelled door on each side of the building, and a cast iron pump is located close to the left-hand door.
