Description
Nos 25 and 27 Clarence Street in Staines date from around 1832 and are three storeys high, built of yellow brick. The eaves of the roof feature paired brackets, with No 25 covered in modern concrete tiles and hipped to the right, while No 27 has a slate roof. Each building has one window with moulded architraves, and the first floor includes carved brackets supporting the cornice. The ground floor has modern shop fronts, with No 25 featuring a bow window. The two buildings are separated by a rebate that has a plaster mask at the top. The return side has a band over the ground floor and one window on the first and second floors.
