Description
29 Clarence Street is a building dating from around 1824 or 1832. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of yellow brick, featuring gauged brick flat arches. The roof is slate and hipped to the left, supported by paired eaves brackets. The facade includes three windows: the upper ones are sash with plate glass, while the lower ones have glazing bars. Notable features include very good cast-iron balconies on the first floor, adorned with honeysuckle and lotus patterns. The ground floor is rusticated stucco with struck voussoirs, and it has two elliptical-headed openings: a coachway to the left, a window in the centre, and an arched doorway to the right.
