Description
Nos 113 and 113A on Guildford Street in Chertsey are likely from the first half of the 18th century and have undergone some alterations. The buildings are constructed of yellow brick with red dressings and rise to three storeys, including an attic storey that features a blank centre. They have an old tiled roof and an ogee bracket cornice with a central pediment that breaks forward. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are adorned with red gauged flat arches and dressings. The first floor has a triple window, which includes a central arched sash window with radial bars at the top, flanked by smaller side recesses that are painted to resemble windows. The ground floor has been modernized with plate glass. Nos 113 to 123 (odd), including No 113A, form a group.
