Description

Arbon Cottage is a 17th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It is constructed of brick and has been limewashed. The cottage is two stories high and features a tiled roof with a large projecting end chimney. The front has a three-window range of near-flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars. There is a ground floor verandah that has an ornamental tile roof. The garden is lawned and includes topiary. Inside, there are semi-circular headed arcading and recesses that have been converted into cupboards. The cottage also has some large timber cross beams and well-proportioned rooms.
