Description

Nurses Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infilling and a thatched roof, along with flanking brick chimneys. The cottage is one storey with an attic. The north front has two two-light casement windows on the ground floor and one eyebrow dormer. The south front includes a glazed lean-to conservatory and two eyebrow dormers. The east wing is made of colourwashed stone and brick, topped with an old tile roof and a half-hipped gable facing the street. This wing has a door and a three-light casement window on the ground floor, as well as a three-light attic window.
