Description

Abbots Cottage is a house that dates from the 17th century and was extended in the 18th century, with some alterations made over time. The building is constructed of painted brick and has a thatched roof, featuring two brick chimneys. The left side of the cottage, which is from the 17th century, is one storey with an attic, while the right side, added in the 18th century, is two storeys tall.

The central entrance has a six-fielded panelled door, flanked by two three-light casement windows on the left and three on the right. There is also a three-light half-dormer window on the left side and two additional three-light casements on the first floor to the right. The openings on the right-hand part of the house have segmental arches.
