Description

The Red Lion Public House is a 16th-century building that has been restored. It features brick walls and a double hipped roof that runs at right angles to the street. At the north end, there are two gables that are hung with tiles. The building has two storeys, with a brick string-course adorned with dentils on the ground floor. There are six small casement windows set within brick recessed arches, and arches above the doors. The front and east sides of the building include later additions. A stone tablet on the building dates back to 1521.
