Description
The Water Witch Public House is a two-storey building that dates from the 16th and 18th centuries, with some modern alterations. It features a timber-framed structure that has been clad at a later date. The roof is covered with red tiles and has double gables at each end, with one side being tile-hung. At the north end, there is a large chimney stack with diagonal flues, which currently has two flues but may have originally had three. The walling is varied, with some timber framing at the rear, painted brick and rough-cast at the ends, and a tile-hung first floor at the front. The ground floor at the front includes an entrance situated between bay windows, which is sheltered by a tiled canopy that is partly supported by posts.
