Description

This early 19th-century building, originally a bank, occupies a corner location on High Street in Egham. The walls are stuccoed, topped by a low-pitched slate roof concealed behind a parapet. The building is distinguished by identical superimposed orders and water leaf capitals within the frieze, accompanied by a broken cornice. Most of the windows are original two-pane sashes; there are seven windows on the ground floor, some of which have been altered, and eleven on the first floor. A corner entrance is provided with three doors. A later shop front has been inserted into the Station Road elevation.
