Description

No. 179 High Street is a late 18th-century estate agents' office. It features stucco walls and a low-pitched slate roof that is hipped towards the street. There are stacks located at the rear and on the west side. The building is two storeys tall, with a single-storey flat-roofed wing on the west. The entrance door is topped with a hood supported by brackets, and there is a projecting rectangular shop front. On the first floor, there are two sash windows accompanied by side lights. The flank elevation has replacement windows.
