The milestone located to the north of Sandcross Lane Corner is an early 19th-century square structure set at an angle, featuring a damaged pyramidal top. On its south-east face, it is inscribed with "LONDON 22 REIGATE 1 3/8," while the north-east face displays "BRIGHTON 29 5/8 CRAWLEY 7 5/8."
