Description
Benham Farm Annexe is a house that has been divided and dates back to the 16th century, with 20th-century extensions. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with brick cladding below and diamond-patterned tile hanging above. The roof is made of Horsham slabs in the center and right sections, with plain tiled ridges, while the left side has a plain tiled roof. There is an end stack on the right, a ridge stack to the right of center, a large rear stack to the left of center, and a ridge stack at the left end. The central range has a carved bargeboarded gable front, with a cross wing to the right and a larger gable front wing projecting from the left end, added in the 20th century. The wings are two stories tall, while the center section is one story, featuring two pent roof leaded lucarne windows with molded surrounds. There is a hipped roof angle bay window on the ground floor of the left wing, and a half-glazed panelled door located under a flat porch hood supported by brackets on the left.
