Description

Forge Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick and rendered plinth, with 20th-century fishscale tile hanging and a plain tiled roof. The cottage has an offset end stack on the left side and is one storey high with an attic, which includes two lucarne windows. There is a planked door located under a gabled hood supported by brackets on the left-hand return front. At the rear right wing, square panel framing is visible, positioned at right angles to the rear left.
